Exactal is pleased to announce the availability of a free CostX® refresher training day in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as part its commitment to keeping our customers up to date.

 

CostX® has been in the marketplace for five years and the product has changed dramatically during that time. Exactal is providing these training days so that existing users can ensure they are using the latest features of the product and getting the maximum benefit from their investment.

 

Mr Simon Lovegrove, Estimating Solutions Director at Exactal, stated "After numerous discussions with our existing client base, we realised that a number of the new CostX® features were not in wide spread use including electronic tendering, named cells and our reporting enhancements". Simon then continued "We see this as an important way to show our customers the level of commitment we have to them by ensuring they get the best out of CostX® as well as emphasising the benefits of continued maintenance."

 

The training will be provided by Mr Andrew Hart who is a qualified Quantity Surveyor and Senior Product Specialist at Exactal. Prior to joining Exactal, Andrew worked extensively with CostX® on several live projects.

 

The course will cover a number of topics including a brief recap on measurements from various file formats, detailed use of workbooks, sub-contractor comparisons, reporting and 3D/BIM data harvesting. Training at each venue will commence at 9:00am and will run all day. Venues and dates are as follows:

·         All necessary hardware, software and course materials will be provided.

·         Places are limited and multiple bookings from the same company may be restricted.

·         To qualify for the free training, attendees’ licenses must currently be under maintenance. Interested persons who do not currently have maintenance should contact Exactal to renew their maintenance prior to booking.
