The Company
Exactal is an established software company that develops, markets and distributes a leading edge software product throughout the world. We are experiencing dynamic growth and are looking for a person who likes to be challenged and who has, and enjoys using, multiple skills. The person will be crucial in helping the Exactal team in achieving the company's objectives and be part of the company's growth.

The Position
Due to continuing growth, Exactal now seeks a Support Engineer to operate its help desk and assist customers achieve the best from its products. The position will also assist with in-house computer systems.

Your responsibilities will include handling support calls, analysing support issues, liaison with the development team and co-ordination of the response to the customer. You will also assist with management of the in-house computer network, file and web servers and the build environment. You will work closely with software development management and the other members of the software development team ensuring that a safe and stable environment is always available.

The Person
Ideally you will have either a graduate degree or be a Microsoft Certified Professional. Consideration will also be given to candidates with less experience who are committed to completing an MCP.

You will also be knowledgeable in the following :-

• Windows Server 2003;
• Windows Server 2008;
• Windows XP;
• Windows Vista;
• General computer hardware;
• TCP/IP & Networking;
• Microsoft Office.

Knowledge or experience in estimating or CAD software will be considered advantageous but is not essential.
